Hasbro Unveils G.I. Joe Cold Slither Heavy Metal Box Set

IGN has an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest addition to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and it's nothing short of spectacular. This new box set showcases Cobra villain Zartan and his Dreadnoks transformed into the heavy metal band Cold Slither, complete with full rockstar regalia.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither - Band of Vipers action figure set draws inspiration from a beloved episode of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. This set features meticulously crafted 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, all geared up for the Band of Vipers World Tour concert. Accompanying these figures are an impressive 29 accessories, including a variety of musical instruments such as a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. The packaging itself is a nod to the iconic Springfield Theater from the series.

You can snag this exclusive box set at San Diego Comic-Con, happening from July 24-27, 2025. Post-event, a limited number of sets will be available on the Hasbro Pulse website.

For fans of a more nostalgic feel, Hasbro is collaborating with Super7 to introduce Cold Slither Zartan to the ReAction+ line. This 3.75-inch figure, modeled after the classic A Real American Hero toys, boasts O-Ring construction and vintage-style packaging. It even glows in the dark under UV light and comes equipped with microphone and guitar accessories. Priced at $20, it will be up for preorder on the Super7 website starting April 3 at 9:15am PT.
