Turn-Based Tactical Warfare Wargroove 2 Drops a Pocket Edition Globally

You can now experience Chucklefish’s critically acclaimed turn-based strategy on mobile. Wargroove 2: Pocket Edition is now available worldwide on Android. Following Wildfrost, this marks their third major release on mobile, offering you the chance to command armies and shape the fate of Aurania.

What’s new in Wargroove 2: Pocket Edition?

The story continues three years after Queen Mercia and her allies restored peace to Aurania. A mysterious faction has begun uncovering forbidden technologies, threatening to plunge the world back into chaos.

The game features three interconnected storylines, each with new alliances, personal vendettas, and challenging moral decisions that shape your path.

The roster has also grown, now featuring over 20 commanders across six warring factions. Among the new additions are the enigmatic mouse-folk of the Faahri Republic. An academic society, they make up for their limited battlefield experience with advanced crystal-powered technology and unmatched tactical intelligence.

Commanders Lytra, Pistil, and Rhomb lead the Faahri faction. Each commander’s ultimate ability, Groove, has been redesigned with a new tiered system, allowing you to amplify its power for devastating effects when used at the perfect moment.

Wargroove 2 introduces a roguelike Conquest mode, where every decision matters. Health, gold, and surviving units carry over between battles. You can also use the built-in editor to create custom maps, cutscenes, and campaigns with fully adjustable rules.

Multiplayer plays a central role in the game. Local matches use a straightforward hot seat system, letting players pass the device back and forth. Online battles support up to four players and feature cross-platform play across all versions of Wargroove 2.
