This engaging teamwork game challenges Firegirl and Waterboy to navigate through an ancient temple together. Help them find the exit while avoiding hazards: Firegirl must steer clear of water, and Waterboy needs to dodge fire. Watch out for spikes that will eliminate both players if touched! Collect bottles scattered throughout the levels to earn bonus points.

Fireboy and Watergirl is one of the most beloved two-player games among children, standing out among countless online and flash games.

The duo frequently finds themselves trapped in mysterious temples, working together to escape. Success requires solving puzzles and collaborating effectively. You can play solo by controlling each character individually or try moving both simultaneously for a greater challenge. However, playing with a friend or sibling is the most fun, allowing each person to control one hero.

(Some players mistakenly refer to them as Waterboy and Firegirl, or Children of Water and Fire.)

In every temple level, the characters must run and jump across gaps filled with fire and water. Keep in mind that Fireboy is immune to lava but vulnerable to water, while Watergirl resists water pools but gets burned by lava. Both heroes must also dodge sharp spikes. Each room ends with two doors: Fireboy must reach the red door, and Watergirl must find the blue one. Along the way, collect diamonds matching your character's element for bonus points. Finishing each level quickly rewards you with a higher score and ranking.

To solve puzzles in each stage, step on buttons to activate lifts, push heavy boxes and bricks to climb higher, and flip switches strategically.

The gameplay goes beyond simple running and jumping over pits. You’ll need old-fashioned teamwork: use one character to hold down platforms or switches while the other passes through, then reunite at the exit. Some levels test your speed, others require precise simultaneous movement, and some demand collecting specific items before leaving. At the end of every stage, you receive a performance rating. Feel free to replay previous levels to improve your score or perfect your coordination skills.
