In *Avowed*, Hylea's Talon stands out as one of the rarest and most crucial upgrading materials. Essential for crafting a build strong enough to tackle the game's more challenging areas, knowing where to find Hylea's Talon is key. Fortunately, there are several reliable methods to secure this valuable resource swiftly.

How To Find Hylea's Talon in Avowed

For an immediate boost of Hylea's Talon in *Avowed*, head to Lluisa Melcer at the Farmer's Market or Abritt Porrya in Piazza Mez Vidarro. These merchants, found in the early sections of Emerald Stair, offer up to 5 units of Hylea's Talon for 450 coins each. Additionally, you can obtain more Hylea's Talon by breaking down unique weapons and armor at your party camp's workbench.

Exploring

Similar to Paradisan Ladder in Dawnshore, you can find Hylea's Talon by exploring Emerald Stair. Look for it in the form of plants, as indicated by the mini-map. By actively engaging in the Emerald Stair missions and wandering around, you're likely to stumble upon plenty of these upgrade material herbs.

Crafting & Downgrading

If you have an excess of Paradisan Ladder, you can craft one Hylea's Talon using four units at your party camp's workbench. Alternatively, if you possess Admeth's Wyrt, navigate to the "Downgrade" tab next to the "Upgrade Materials" option to convert this higher-level herb into Hylea's Talon.

Breaking Down Items

For upgraded items you no longer need, whether self-upgraded or purchased, you can gain additional Hylea's Talon by breaking them down through the inventory menu. This method is applicable only to "Exceptional" quality or higher weapons and armor. Be sure to review the "Break Down" section of their item descriptions to see what materials you'll receive.

Now that you're equipped with the knowledge to easily obtain Hylea's Talon in *Avowed*, you might also want to explore where to find the Painter's Regret Map or check out the complete list of achievements for the game.
