New GTA 6 Trailer Song Revealed

By HenryMay 13,2025

Rockstar has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 2, sparking a wave of excitement among fans eager to discover the song featured in the new GTA 6 trailer. The trailer, which runs for two-and-a-half minutes, immerses viewers in the vibrant action and romance of Vice City, while also highlighting Rockstar's tradition of incorporating stellar music into its soundtracks. Staying true to form, GTA 6's second trailer is set to the backdrop of "Hot Together" by The Pointer Sisters, an iconic '80s hit that, despite its rarity on the radio in 2025, perfectly captures the essence of the upcoming open-world adventure.

The song "Hot Together" serves as the title track for The Pointer Sisters' 1986 pop R&B album, running for four minutes and 13 seconds. This steamy dance track, emblematic of the '80s, seamlessly integrates into the reimagined Vice City setting. Although it doesn't rank among the top 10 most popular songs by The Pointer Sisters on Spotify at the time of writing, its inclusion in the trailer is likely to boost its popularity as the day progresses.

The first trailer for GTA 6, released in December 2023, introduced fans to Rockstar's new world through Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road," a Florida-born rockstar's track that not only increased in popularity but also sparked numerous fan theories about the game's storyline and characters. With the reveal of "Hot Together" in the second trailer, fans are sure to delve deep into its significance as they eagerly await GTA 6's launch next year.

Following a recent delay, the release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S is now set for May 26, 2026.
