The Season of Witchcraft in *Diablo 4* introduces a wealth of new content, but to truly maximize your experience, you'll need to get your hands on a scarce new resource: Fugitive Heads. Here's your guide on how to obtain them in *Diablo 4* Season 7.

What Are Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7?

*Diablo 4* Season 7 brings a whirlwind of new features, but the spotlight is on the Witchcraft Powers. These powers enhance gameplay with unique abilities, yet they require additional resources to shine. Enter Occult Gems, a new resource that boosts your character with 160 Armor and 8% Resist All. Crafting these gems, however, is no easy feat.

To begin crafting Occult Gems, you must first secure a Fugitive Head and deliver it to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. Beyond the initial head, you'll need at least one more Fugitive Head, 1,000 Restless Rot, and 50,000 Gem Fragments for subsequent crafts. Thus, understanding how to acquire Fugitive Heads is crucial for advancing in *Diablo 4* Season 7.

How To Find Fugitive Heads in Diablo 4 Season 7

Headhunt in Diablo 4 as part of an article about how to get Fugitive Heads in Season 7.To obtain Fugitive Heads, you'll need to venture into the Headhunt zones, a new feature of Season 7, and complete Whisper bounties. Upon completion, there's a chance an Uprooted Cocoon will spawn. However, don't celebrate just yet—breaking it open summons Headrotten Bosses, and only some of these bosses come equipped with a Fugitive Head. Defeating them is the key to claiming your prize.

This process is inherently challenging due to its reliance on chance. Fortunately, you can increase your odds of encountering Fugitive Heads by using the Draught of Whispers Elixir, available from Exposed Roots, Whispers Cache, and Coven’s Cache. This elixir boosts the chance of Fugitive Heads spawning by 50% and also increases the likelihood of Forgotten Altars appearing.

The difficulty level you play at also affects the spawn rate of Fugitive Heads. They are extremely rare on difficulties below Torment. Therefore, it's advisable for casual players to gradually acclimate to Torment difficulty before embarking on a Headhunt. With Season 7 running until April, there's ample time to explore and collect Fugitive Heads at your own pace.
