"Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Revealed"

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the much-anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows. In a departure from the usual practice of offering early access for a premium, this game will launch simultaneously worldwide at a set date and time, ensuring all players start their adventure together on March 20.

For console enthusiasts, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. PC gamers, however, need to note the different release schedules based on the platform. If you're playing via Steam, the game will unlock at varying times across different time zones, starting at 9pm PDT on March 19 in Los Angeles and rolling out to other regions. Meanwhile, Ubi Connect users will see a slightly different schedule, with some regions getting access as early as 9pm PDT on March 19.

Pre-load options are already open for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, allowing eager fans to get ready for the big day. With the pressure on Assassin's Creed Shadows to perform well following Ubisoft's recent challenges, including delays and less-than-expected sales from Star Wars Outlaws, the game's success is critical for the company.

IGN's review of Assassin's Creed Shadows gave it a solid 8/10, praising the game for refining its open-world mechanics and delivering one of the best experiences in the series to date.
