Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to be released on April 23rd. This update marks the conclusion of Season 1, promising to tie up loose ends and delve deeper into the game's narrative.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The much-anticipated resolution of the Sacrifice crisis is the highlight of this update. Players will finally uncover the truth behind Vivian’s intricate past and the uncertain fate of Hugo, following his dramatic plunge into the Hollow. The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a specialized Void Hunter-rank investigator to handle the situation.

Joining Vivian, players will venture into enemy territory in search of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will also involve confronting individuals from her past, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. The second new character, Hugo, is an Ice Attack Agent who uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His Totalize effect amplifies damage against stunned enemies, based on the duration of the stun.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray, using cards with random effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, featured in Version 1.7’s banners.

To keep the excitement going, Version 1.7 will introduce new events. The 'Say It With Flowers' event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
