With the 20th Anniversary event now behind us in World of Warcraft, players are eagerly awaiting the release of Patch 11.1 later this year. In the meantime, there's no shortage of exciting events to dive into, such as the return of the Turbulent Timeways event from Dragonflight. This unique event offers players a chance to earn a special reward by stacking the Mastery of Timeways buff multiple times.

Turbulent Timeways Event Explained

Unlike the usual spaced-out Timewalking events, Turbulent Timeways packs a punch with five consecutive Timewalking events running from January 1 to February 25. Each week, players can explore a different set of Timewalking dungeons from various expansions, following this schedule:

• Week 1: Mists of Pandaria (1/07 to 1/14)
• Week 2: Warlords of Draenor (1/14 to 1/21)
• Week 3: Legion (1/21 to 1/28)
• Week 4: Classic (1/28 to 2/04)
• Week 5: The Burning Crusade (2/04 to 2/11)
• Week 6: Wrath of the Lich King (2/11 to 2/18)
• Week 7: Cataclysm (2/18 to 2/25)

Each time you conquer a Timewalking Dungeon, you'll earn a stack of the Knowledge of Timeways buff. This buff lasts for two hours, remains active even if you die, and boosts your experience gain by five percent from monster kills and quest completions. Once you reach four stacks, it evolves into the Mastery of Timeways buff, lasting three hours and increasing your experience gain by a whopping 30%. Both buffs refresh their timers upon completing another Timewalking Dungeon.

To secure the Mastery of Timeways buff, you need to accumulate four stacks of Knowledge of Timeways without letting it run out. Be mindful not to go AFK for too long, as losing your stacks means starting over from scratch.

Turbulent Timeways Rewards

Beyond the leveling benefits, Turbulent Timeways offers enticing rewards. You can purchase the Sandy Shalewing mount from Timewalking Vendors for 5,000 Timewarped Badges, a mount that was a hit during the previous Dragonflight event.

Additionally, a new mount, the Timely Buzzbee, is up for grabs. To claim it, you must achieve the Mastery of Timeways buff in five out of the seven weeks that Turbulent Timeways is active.
