Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now progress to unlock the Fire Seal by clearing the previous altars. To break the seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, an Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each item and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact that can be found in the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, then navigate to Floors 50-59. We successfully located the gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. To obtain it, use your pickaxe or shovel to dig at marked spots on the ground. Be prepared to spend some time, as this item isn't easy to come by.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot is a common forageable item found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you frequently explore the mines, you might already have this in your inventory. Look for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. Only one Rockroot is needed to complete the Priestess' altar.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are among the easiest items to find for the Fire Seal offerings. They can be mined from geodes on Floors 50-59 or obtained by breaking large boulders around Mistria. Alternatively, you can purchase them at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, crafting them is another viable option.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the final piece required to unlock the Fire Seal and is part of a quest initiated after meeting Juniper and discovering the seal. You'll need to recruit Balor, who will send away for the scroll in exchange for:

• x10 Silver Ingots
• x10 Rubies
• x10 Sapphires
• x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these items, they can all be found within the mines. Once you've collected the required materials, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon to receive your Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to offer these items. Doing so will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and additional content during Early Access.
