Thunderbolts* Reappears With Action-Packed Super Bowl Trailer and a First Look at Sentry

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is gearing up for the release of Captain America: Brave New World, featuring the Red Hulk, but fans got an early glimpse of another anticipated project: Thunderbolts. A new Super Bowl trailer showcased the team's diverse skills and offered what appears to be our first look at the main villain, Sentry.

The commercial, part of the Big Game broadcast, featured Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and others in action-packed scenes. While the Super Bowl spot provided only a brief preview, a longer, two-and-a-half-minute trailer subsequently appeared online, revealing more of Marvel's latest ensemble. A fleeting but noticeable moment in the trailer hints at Lewis Pullman's Sentry unleashing chaos upon an unsuspecting corner of the MCU. Thunderbolts premieres May 2, 2025, promising to reveal how this unlikely team assembles.
