Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is in full swing, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt to unravel the mystery's secrets. However, a seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—has proven unexpectedly tricky for some. This guide will walk you through how to complete this part of the event.
One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. Long-time players likely know their local museum's location. New players should check their map for a building icon depicting pillars. While four default museums exist, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are ideal due to their proximity to other Blast from the Past tasks.
Once you arrive at a museum, enter and locate a Historical Display. Both paintings and sculptures qualify. Click on the chosen item, select "View," and the Emit icon will confirm your progress. It's that simple!
Despite the quest's apparent simplicity, many players report encountering issues. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" option from appearing. Some players have even removed all mods with no success. While we hope EA addresses this issue, the best current workaround is attempting to view multiple items across several museums.
