Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the dramatic conclusion of the Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two new characters: Spider-Woman and Lumatrix, the first Eidol Champion of 2025. Players can dive into fresh quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all while collecting valuable rewards.

Spider-Woman will make her grand entrance into the game on April 17th, bringing her unique spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to The Contest. Lumatrix, a dazzling yet deadly assassin created by The Founders, will debut earlier on April 9th. Lumatrix's allure lies not just in their striking appearance but in their formidable light manipulation powers. To recruit Lumatrix to your team, gather Light Essence from various game modes such as Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to collect Lumatrix runs until June 4th.

The new Spy Games quest introduces a thrilling storyline featuring Black Widow and Spider-Woman, who team up to unravel the mystery behind the Eidols' arrival. With danger and deception lurking at every corner, these elite spies are pivotal in uncovering the truth behind Lumatrix's sinister light show. The Spy Games event is available from March 9th to May 7th.

Deadpool joins the fray with the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event, running from April 25th to May 2nd. Convinced by Red Guardian, Deadpool offers a trove of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers players a chance to acquire valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event will shake up the seven-day supply drop, running from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, players can earn Poolshields, which can be traded for rewards during the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed event. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, encouraging regular logins for more free rewards.
