Fans of the adult animated series *Solar Opposites* will need to brace themselves for the end, as Hulu has officially announced that the show's sixth season will be its last. The final installment is set to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025, marking the conclusion of the adventures of a family of aliens stranded on Earth.
The renewal for Season 6 was announced in mid-2024, but at the time, there was no indication that this would also be the show's final chapter. *Solar Opposites* made its debut in 2020, captivating audiences with its unique blend of humor and sci-fi elements, crafted by the minds of *Star Trek: Lower Decks* creator Mike McMahan and *Rick & Morty* co-creator Justin Roiland.
However, in 2023, Justin Roiland faced significant challenges when he was charged with domestic violence, leading to his removal from the show. Although the charges were later dropped, Roiland did not return to *Solar Opposites*. Stepping into the role of lead voice actor was the talented English actor Dan Stevens, who successfully took over the character previously voiced by Roiland.
