Launched in March 2023, the Sony Bravia XR X93L was positioned as the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup, just below the X95L (available only in an 85" screen size in the United States). Featuring Mini LED technology, the X93L excels in displaying HDR content. Mini LED panels use an array of smaller, more numerous LEDs that can be independently controlled, significantly enhancing black levels and contrast ratios.

Gamers will appreciate the X93L's capabilities. With four HDMI ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, it supports 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 will be limited to 60fps in 4K when docked, the X93L's HDMI 2.1 ports are not necessary for that system.
