Respawn Entertainment, in partnership with Bit Reactor—a studio founded by former XCOM developers—will officially unveil their new Star Wars tactical strategy game on April 19, 2025. The much-anticipated announcement will occur during the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan, offering fans an exhilarating first look at this project.
The game, which was first confirmed in 2022, has been shrouded in mystery until recently. New reports indicate that it's being crafted with Unreal Engine 5 and will feature turn-based combat, promising players a rich tactical experience within the iconic Star Wars universe.

Despite significant layoffs at EA earlier this year, the development team reassured fans in March 2024 that the project is still on track and unaffected by the cuts.
