How To Rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals

By DylanMar 22,2025

The second set of Midnight Features II challenges in Marvel Rivals centers around the heroic Squirrel Girl. While some tasks are straightforward, like dealing damage as this furry Duelist, one presents a bit more of a challenge: rescuing Ratatoskr in Central Park. Here's how to accomplish this.

Who Is Ratatoskr in Marvel Rivals?

To conquer the Midnight Features II challenges and claim your rewards, you'll need to know Ratatoskr. While in-game investigations suggest Squirrel Girl's monstrous transformation, Ratatoskr is actually an Asgardian squirrel-shaped beast. Historically a messenger for Asgard, she's known for her escapes and mischievous mayhem. In this instance, Ratatoskr finds herself in Dracula's New York, needing a helping hand (or paw). Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to rescue her.

Central Park, much like Midtown in Season 1, serves as the special map for Season 1.5. Unlike other Quick Match and Competitive locations, you can select Central Park at will. However, rescuing Ratatoskr five times requires a bit of luck.

Whether attacking or defending, you'll spot a chained-up giant squirrel—Ratatoskr—in the map's center. To rescue her, you must be on the attacking team. Central Park functions like a Convoy map: your team must reach Ratatoskr, fill her freedom meter, and then escort her to the map's opposite end to win.

This requires significant effort, as team assignment is random. You'll need multiple Central Park matches to free Ratatoskr five times. Remember, both Central Park mode and the Midnight Features II challenges are time-limited, so don't delay! Fortunately, other Midnight Features II quests can be tackled concurrently.

That's how to rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals. Need more help? Check out our character counters for this hero shooter.
