Pokémon GO: February 2025 Event Calendar

Get ready for a jam-packed February in Pokémon GO! From Lunar New Year celebrations to a Community Day featuring Karrablast & Shelmet, and even a Dynamax Moltres encounter, there's something for every Trainer. Here's the full schedule:

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Ring in the Year of the Snake with increased spawns of snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans (Shiny available!), Onix (Shiny available!), Snivy (Shiny available!), Darumaka (Shiny available!), Dunsparce (Shiny available!), Gyarados (Shiny available!), and Dratini (Shiny available!). Enjoy boosted Lucky Pokémon trade chances, easier Lucky Friend status, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita (Shiny available!), Nosepass (Shiny available!), Meditite (Shiny available!), Duskull (Shiny available!), and Skorupi (Shiny available!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Catch it as a Max Monday boss at Power Spots on February 3rd (6 PM – 7 PM local time). After that, the fiery legend remains available until February 9th, though at fewer locations as Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble join the Max Battle roster until February 10th.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

This dual Community Day (2 PM – 5 PM local time) offers increased Karrablast and Shelmet encounters, boosted evolution bonuses, and higher Shiny rates. Evolve your Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16th (10 PM local time) to get an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. A premium Timed Research is available for purchase ($2 USD or equivalent).

Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15
