By AlexanderMay 15,2025

The Pokémon Company has taken a significant step in addressing the ongoing challenges fans face when trying to acquire the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) sets. In a recent statement, the company acknowledged the difficulties and confirmed that reprints of in-demand sets are on the horizon. This move comes in response to the intense demand and subsequent shortages seen with sets like Destined Rivals, Prismatic Evolutions, and the Blooming Waters box, which have been plagued by issues such as pre-order problems and scalping.

On their official website, The Pokémon Company (TPC) admitted that the high demand has led to difficulties in purchasing certain Pokémon TCG products. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity," the statement emphasized. They assured fans that reprints would soon be available at participating retailers.

Looking forward, TPC pledged to maximize production for upcoming TCG expansions to ensure better availability at launch. They also committed to continuing reprints of affected products to maintain stock levels, particularly at the Pokémon Center.

In addressing the issue of scalping, The Pokémon Company highlighted their commitment to enhancing the purchasing experience at the Pokémon Center. They employ technology such as a virtual queue system during high traffic periods to prioritize fans. "We will continue to explore measures that help create the best possible experience for Pokémon Center customers," they added, expressing gratitude for the community's patience and support.

This proactive approach from The Pokémon Company is a promising sign for Pokémon TCG enthusiasts. Hopefully, these initiatives will alleviate some of the stress associated with obtaining new sets, making the hobby more enjoyable for all fans.
