Play Together\'s Dreamland turns into a Nightmare in new update

By SarahMay 03,2025

If you've been exploring the recent Dreamland update in Haegin's *Play Together*, you might have been intrigued by the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to access this enchanting zone. But what if those delightful, surreal dreams suddenly morphed into something sinister? With the new Nightmare update, you can experience this thrilling twist firsthand.

Dreamland has transformed into a Nightmare, all thanks to the malevolent Queen of the Night. Her influence has not only tainted the dream world but also seeped into the 'real world' of Kaia Island. To restore peace, you must confront and dethrone the Queen and her minions before the event concludes on May 21st.

You'll face five distinct types of Nightmare Monsters, such as the Sneering Pillow and the Abandoned Doll, roaming Kaia Island. To vanquish these fearsome foes, arm yourself with the newly introduced Dream Gun. Triumph over them all, and you'll be rewarded with the exclusive mount, Bed Consumed by Nightmares!

Beware, as the ordinary creatures of Kaia Island have also succumbed to the nightmares. You'll encounter new varieties of fish and insects, which you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's special currency.

In the Dreamland Workshop, you can craft unique nightmare-themed furniture, including the Nightmare Music Box and the Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, there's a new pet to add to your collection: the Nightmare Sheep.
