"Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature"

Exciting developments are unfolding in Monster Hunter Now, as Niantic introduces a new feature called Monster Outbreaks. Currently in the testing phase, this feature aims to gather player feedback to refine and potentially integrate it permanently into the game. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Monster Outbreaks testing in Monster Hunter Now.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled to run from April 26th to 27th. Each day, the event will occur twice: from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time. During these windows, you'll encounter a surge of 8-star Black Diablos at designated outbreak points on the map. The objective is to collaborate with other players to defeat 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak spot within the one-hour timeframe. Note that this goal is specific to each location, not a global total.

To participate, you must have a Hunter Rank (HR) of 11 or higher. Importantly, the party feature won't be available; only in-person group hunts will count towards the goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a unique icon. By tapping on these icons, you can access detailed information and sign up on a roster to coordinate with other hunters.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The concept of counting slays is intriguing. If you and three other hunters take down one monster, it counts as four towards the 100-target goal. If your group achieves the 100 slay count before the hour ends, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time.

Successfully hitting the 100-monster target comes with rewards. Participants will receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster grants you a chance to earn the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you eager to join the action? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and participate in the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend.
