The latest season of Marvel Snap is all about legacy, and it's packed with exciting new content. Sam Wilson steps into the spotlight as the new Captain America, introducing fresh mechanics that are sure to shake up your matches. Alongside him, characters like Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross add new strategic layers, ensuring there's plenty to explore this month.
Sam Wilson's debut in Marvel Snap comes with a Season Pass that reflects his journey from Falcon to Captain America. His card ability introduces Cap's Shield at the start of each match, adding it to a random location. You can move the Shield across the board, and while it can't be destroyed, it boosts Sam's power by +2 whenever it lands in his location.
The roster expands with new characters throughout February. Joaquín Torres joins on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing arrives on the 18th, and Diamondback closes out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will rotate through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, giving you multiple opportunities to unlock them.
Two new locations are also coming to Marvel Snap. The Smithsonian Museum rewards Ongoing abilities with an extra +1 Power per card, while Madripoor boosts the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. Both these locations encourage different deck builds, so you'll have to adapt your strategies to take advantage of this season's landscape.
