The iconic White Wolf is making his final stand as production for the last season of *The Witcher* is now underway. Fans have been treated to new set photos, courtesy of the dedicated Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcasing Liam Hemsworth stepping into the role of Geralt de Rivia for Season 5. These images reveal Hemsworth donning the character's iconic long blonde hair and full costume, signifying his transition from Henry Cavill, who led the series until Season 3. Hemsworth was officially announced as Cavill's replacement in October 2022, taking over for both Season 4 and the concluding Season 5.

Alongside Hemsworth, familiar faces from the series are back, including Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, both of whom have been with the show since Cavill's tenure. The leaked set photos also tease new characters for Season 4, who will carry over into the final season. Among them is the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, who will portray Emiel Regis.
Speculation among fans suggests that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers and is guided towards druids. However, with Season 4 yet to be released, the narrative could take any number of turns, leaving much to be anticipated.
Notably, Henry Cavill isn't the only departure from the series. Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's mentor Vesemir, will not return due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has not yet announced Bodnia's replacement, and there is no official release date for Season 4, keeping fans eagerly waiting for more updates.
