Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to launch on April 29th, 2025, bringing a host of exciting updates and changes to the game. As Season 9 wraps up and Season 10 kicks off on the same day, players can expect their ratings to reset and the Track to receive a complete refresh. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected, ensuring no one misses out on their well-earned goodies.
The reveal schedule for the new season is designed to build anticipation, with different minion types being showcased over several days. On April 18th, fans will get a glimpse of the Dragons, Demons, and Mechs, followed by Undead and Pirates on April 21st, Naga and Quilboar on April 22nd, and finally, Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd. This staggered approach allows players to thoroughly explore what's coming their way.
Significant gameplay changes are on the horizon as well. Anomalies are being removed entirely from the Tavern at the start of the season, and the turn lengths are being extended to give players more time to strategize and make their moves. Trinkets, the passive power-ups you can purchase with Gold, are making a comeback, but with a twist. They will appear twice during a game—once on turn 6 as Lesser Trinkets and again on turn 9 as Greater Trinkets. Season 10 enhances the likelihood of obtaining Trinkets that align with your current minion type, and Blizzard is introducing over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones.
Two new heroes, Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons, are joining the fray in Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 10. Cenarius, embodying the essence of a classic Druid, will help players ramp up their Gold and set the stage for impactful late-game strategies.
The minion pool is also undergoing a massive refresh, with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells being added to the mix. This overhaul is sure to shake up the meta and offer fresh opportunities for players to experiment and dominate the battlefield. As always, the Battlegrounds Track will reset, giving everyone a new chance to climb the ranks.
