Developer Sway State Games has unveiled Into the Hearth Yonder, a charming new creature-collection MMO-lite with a vibrant art style, currently in development for PC and scheduled for release next year.
In Into the Hearth Yonder, players can venture through the world of Viteria solo or with friends, accompanied by loyal automata companions. These little helpers enhance various gameplay aspects such as combat, farming, fishing, mining, and crafting. "We wanted to bring player stats and skills to life through adorable, Tamagotchi-like automata," explained Sway State studio head Chris O'Kelly. "You enjoy collecting and nurturing them, and they reward you by enhancing your journey through Viteria, improving quality of life, and empowering your preferred playstyle."

"Our goal was to set a cozy table for adventure, inviting you to explore at your own pace with abundant building, crafting, exploration, and magic," O'Kelly added. "It's 'survival' with less pressure—truly a worry-free retreat into a slower pace."
