Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were thrilled to see new figures inspired by the game, including a highly detailed Nightsister Merrin and a dynamic three-pack featuring Cal Kestis, Turgle, and Skoova Stev. Cal’s figure stands out with multiple interchangeable heads—one of which features a handlebar mustache. According to Jing Houle, that distinctive look was a deliberate creative choice from the start.
"Honestly, we just wanted to have fun with it," Houle told IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs we revealed during the panel. We actually began with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean-shaven version, followed by the short beard. For us, the mustache version is almost the primary look—it’s just so much fun."
Merrin’s inclusion was a natural fit, given her pivotal role in the Fallen Order and Survivor narrative. Capturing her unique presence, especially her Force abilities and intricate costume, was a top priority for the design team.
"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," said Chris Reiff. "We're really glad we finally got to her. Recreating that green Force blast, the fine details of her new outfit, and the face tattoos using inkjet printing—there’s some beautiful subtlety there. She’s a cool character, and we know fans are deeply invested in her. This figure helps expand that world in a meaningful way."
The 2025 lineup also brings updated versions of two of Star Wars’ most beloved icons—Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite their long history in Hasbro’s catalog, Houle emphasized that these figures were overdue for a modern overhaul.
"We haven’t done them in a long time," Houle explained. "They needed an update, so we created entirely new tooling with the latest articulation tech. This allows fans to enjoy these classic characters with all the advancements we’ve made. We’ve learned a lot from previous Wookiee figures, especially when it comes to managing long hair."
She continued, "Even with Chewbacca’s thick fur, we used softer plastics to allow smooth head movement without compromising the look. For Han, we added enhanced articulation but avoided a thigh cut on the right leg to preserve the clean appearance of his red leg stripe. Instead, we added articulation at the top of the boot—small details that make a big difference."

One of the standout figures in the lineup is The Ronin from the acclaimed anime anthology Star Wars: Visions. Rendered in striking black and white with a vibrant red katana lightsaber, this Celebration-exclusive figure is a visual masterpiece. Both Houle and Reiff stressed the importance of getting every detail right, from design to packaging.
"I love that we stayed true to the original aesthetic," Houle said. "We incorporated insights from Japanese culture—the premium box design, magnetic closure, watercolor-style artwork, hidden accessories, and the clean, elegant presentation. Every element, from packaging to engineering, received meticulous attention."
Reiff added, "We even used Japanese text on the exclusive packaging. It’s not something we usually do, but since we’re celebrating in Japan, we wanted to honor the culture and make this release truly special."
Rounding out the highlights is a new 1:1 scale Death Trooper helmet in the Black Series Premium Roleplay line. This intricately crafted helmet captures the weathered, cinematic look of the original and includes functional lighting.
"It’s a completely new tooling for the Black Series," Reiff said. "It looks like it came straight from the film, with realistic weathering and lighting details. Press a button on the side, and you can control the chin lights and the spectre sensor lights. We worked closely with Lucasfilm, using original digital assets to nail every detail. And unlike the real prop, this one has a fully detailed interior—just like our other premium helmets."
