"Guide to Obtaining Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in WoW"

By CalebApr 02,2025

Navigating the vast world of Azeroth on a majestic mount is one of the most thrilling aspects of World of Warcraft. Among the coveted mounts is the stunning Stormcrow named Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, inspired by the Siren Isle zone from the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion. This mount isn’t just another Raven mount; it's a symbol of your adventures through the stormy realms of Siren Isle. To claim Thrayir, players must engage with the Storm event, a dynamic weather phenomenon that blankets the island in multiple phases. Here's your guide to securing this exquisite flying mount.

How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

The journey begins with collecting five Runekeys scattered across Siren Isle, each tied to different tasks and challenges during the Storm event.

  • The Whirling Runekey: This key is dropped by the rare spawn enemy, Ksvir the Forgotten, located in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. Make sure to visit during a Storm event, as Ksvir has a higher chance to spawn and drop the key upon defeat.
  • The Torrential Runekey: Gather seven Torrential Fragments from any enemy you encounter on Siren Isle during a Storm phase. These fragments come together to form the Runekey.
  • The Thunderous Runekey: Collect five Thunderous Fragments from any chest found around Siren Isle. Note that these fragments can be obtained even if the chest is not located in a stormy area.
  • The Cyclonic Runekey: This key can be obtained by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
  • The Turbulent Runekey: Construct this key by finding three Turbulent Fragments at specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:
    • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
    • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone, where the ghost is cowering.
    • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where the ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.

World of Warcraft Patch 11.0.7 Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren Stormcrow Mount

Once all five Runekeys are in your possession, head back to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle, but only during the Seafury Tempest phase of the Storm event. Entering the Vault during any other phase won’t allow you to proceed with the ritual. Navigate to the eastern room of the map, where you'll find Thrayir’s body on a platform surrounded by five runestones. Place each Runekey into its corresponding runestone slot. This action will trigger a quest titled "Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren." Complete this quest, and Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren, will be added to your inventory, ready to soar across the skies of Azeroth.
