Hollow Knight: Silksong's Absence from Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live

Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) 2024, confirmed the absence of the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong from the event's showcase. This announcement brought disappointment to many fans.

Initial speculation arose when Keighley's initial ONL lineup included a "+ More" section, fueling hopes for a Silksong update, especially given the game's extended silence. However, Keighley later clarified on Twitter (X) that Silksong would not be featured, stating, "Just to get this out of the way, no Silksong on Tuesday at ONL." He reassured fans that Team Cherry remains dedicated to the game's development.
