The ongoing informal competition among gacha games is intensifying, with recent financial data from February 2025 showing a revenue decline for several top titles. Enthusiasts of these games are closely monitoring the financial performance across the genre, and the latest statistics for February 2025 have provided some insights into how these games are faring.

miHoYo, also known as HoYoverse, which has three major projects under its belt, saw a revenue drop across all of them during this period. Honkai Star Rail, securing the fourth position, experienced a revenue fall from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, ranking sixth, witnessed a significant decrease from over $99 million to $26.3 million, following a previous spike attributed to the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero, in eighth place, saw its revenue decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. In February 2025, the leading gacha game was Pokemon TCG Pocket, generating an impressive $79 million in revenue. Coming in second was Love and Deepspace with $49.5 million, and rounding out the top three was Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle with $47 million.
