The latest State of Play event has brought an exciting array of announcements for PS5 enthusiasts, showcasing a plethora of upcoming games and updates. From Housemarque's next venture, Saros, to the much-anticipated Borderlands 4 and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the event was packed with thrilling reveals and release dates.

Saros, the successor to Housemarque's Returnal, is set to launch on PS5 in 2026. This game transports players to the planet Carcosa, where they'll embody Arjun Devraj, a Soltari Enforcer, on a quest for answers amidst an ominous eclipse. With permanent progression systems and a world that evolves with every death, Saros promises a dynamic gaming experience.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has finally locked in a release date of August 28, 2025. Alongside a fresh gameplay trailer, Konami teased an Ape Escape collaboration and hinted at more crossovers to come.

Gearbox confirmed that Borderlands 4 will hit the shelves on September 23, 2025. A new gameplay trailer was unveiled, and fans can look forward to a dedicated Borderlands 4-themed State of Play later this spring.
