Here’s the Backstory of Spider-Woman in the World of Marvel Contest of Champions

Spider-Woman, born as Jessica Drew, faced a challenging childhood when she was exposed to uranium near her home. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, attempted to save her by injecting her with a concoction of spider DNA. After a long recovery, Jessica not only overcame the experiment's initial adverse effects but also gained remarkable spider powers, ultimately becoming Spider-Woman. Players can add this new champion to their roster starting April 17th.

However, before Spider-Woman makes her entrance, another champion, Lumatrix, will join the fray on April 9th. Known as one of the most lethal assassins created by the Founders, Lumatrix specializes in infiltration and elimination, utilizing his dazzling light-based powers.

For those looking for high-stakes action, Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest "Dark Bounties," placing bounties on various champions. Players must track these champions down to claim their rewards.

Additionally, the "Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector" makes a comeback, challenging players to assemble their most formidable Saga champions to battle for Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones.
