EA Play Loses Two Games in February 2025

Summary

Two EA Play games are departing in February 2025: Madden NFL 23 on February 15th and F1 22 on February 28th. Additionally, UFC 3 online services will end February 17th.

EA Play subscribers should be aware that at least two titles will be removed from the service in February 2025. EA Play, EA's subscription service, offers free game trials, full games, and other benefits. Available as a standalone subscription or bundled with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it provides access to a diverse library of EA games, both new and old. However, like other subscription services, games are periodically rotated out.

EA has confirmed the February 2025 removal of Madden NFL 23 (February 15th) and F1 22 (February 28th). Importantly, this removal doesn't immediately shut down online multiplayer for these games; that will happen later. EA Play subscribers should enjoy these titles while they remain available.

List of Games Leaving EA Play Soon

  • Madden NFL 23 - February 15th
  • F1 22 - February 28th

Beyond the EA Play removals, UFC 3's online functionality will cease on February 17th. While its continued availability on EA Play is uncertain, the loss of online features significantly impacts the game. Subscribers might want to prioritize playing UFC 3 before this date.

While the loss of these games is disappointing, newer installments remain accessible. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will still be available after February. Furthermore, UFC 5 joins the EA Play lineup on January 14th. The availability of newer titles helps mitigate the impact of these removals.
