Following the exciting reveal trailer, Dune: Awakening is set for release on May 20th, 2025, for PC via Steam. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, Funcom has unleashed the Character Creator and Benchmark Mode, allowing you to dive into the world of Arrakis early. Craft your perfect character and test your PC's compatibility.

Create your character now and customize every detail – from appearance to home planet, caste, and even your mentor or class. This character will seamlessly transfer to the full game upon launch. Early character creation also unlocks an exclusive Frameblade knife skin, redeemable via code at launch.

The Benchmark Mode thoroughly tests your PC's performance, automatically adjusting graphics settings for optimal gameplay. You'll journey through a player-built base, explore the bustling Harkonnen hub of Harko Village, and even encounter a colossal sandworm!
