Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has arrived with a bang, marking the game's most expansive season to date. Now officially live, this season introduces a host of new features that revolutionize the gameplay experience, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The crown jewel of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city under your command. Players will dive into the Netherrealm to gather resources, which they can then transform into tangible benefits by allocating workers across five unique professions. This strategic layer unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending ARPG combat with a strategy simulation.
The character Thea undergoes a dramatic transformation this season, evolving from a divine channeler into the Blasphemer. Her new role involves spreading desecration rather than blessings, inflicting escalating Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region also receives a significant overhaul, introducing five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes is introduced, functioning similarly to Compasses but occupying their own slot to boost both rewards and difficulty levels.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enhanced with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These rare stages offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones break from tradition, such as the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but packed with Mystery Chests ripe for the picking.
In contrast, the Sea of Rites presents players with a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Eliminating these creatures can potentially summon a secret boss for an unexpected challenge.
The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both players and bosses to utilize it. A well-timed hit can transform enemies into treasure, adding a thrilling twist to combat.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can now download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the excitement of the Sandlord season.
