Locating Lord Semine’s Sword in “Wedding Crashers”
Radovan informs you that the sword you crafted from the Hermit’s Sword for Lord Semine’s gift has disappeared. He’s unsure who took it but recalls seeing an unfamiliar figure in yellow lurking earlier. Your first step is to find this person in yellow.
You can question anyone wearing yellow about the sword, but most will deny involvement. Some, however, hint that they saw a man in yellow heading upstairs in the stable. Check the stable’s upper level, and you’ll find Hans attempting to charm a woman.
Hans, dressed in yellow, isn’t the thief, but he saw who is: Svatya, the bailiff’s son and brother of the bride. You can ask Hans why Svatya would steal the sword or what he did with it. Hans advises you to confront Svatya directly, as he only witnessed the theft but didn’t see what happened next.
Confronting Svatya
Finding Svatya is straightforward. Exit the stables and look toward the tree where musicians are playing for the wedding guests. Svatya stands to the right, drinking by the stable wall. You’ll notice a sword on him, suggesting you’re close to recovering the gift.
Svatya confesses he took the sword to humiliate Old Semine, hoping to make him seem forgetful. He didn’t consider the repercussions or that his father might not shield him from theft accusations. Unfortunately, Svatya reveals he discarded the sword.
Svatya admits he tossed the sword into a pond, lacking time to hide it properly. This works in your favor. If you danced with Myshka, she showed you the pond earlier. Otherwise, head to Radovan’s position, face him, and find the fenced door behind him leading to the pond’s edge.
Retrieving the Sword
Open the door, take a few steps, and look down to spot the sword in the water. Approach closely to retrieve it. Then, return to Radovan, who asks about the thief. You can name Svatya or dismiss the question, saying it’s irrelevant now that the sword is recovered.
Once you return Lord Semine’s sword in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to Radovan, the wedding begins. Complete any pre-ceremony tasks before reporting back. Afterward, celebrate with the newlyweds and proceed to the next main quest.
