"Devil May Cry Anime Season 2 Confirmed on Netflix"

Netflix has exciting news for fans of the Devil May Cry anime: a second season is officially on its way. The announcement came via a post on X/Twitter, featuring an image and the caption, "Let's dance. Devil May Cry is officially coming back for Season 2." While details about the upcoming season remain under wraps, viewers can dive back into the action as the entire first season is now available for streaming on Netflix.

And yet, Adi Shankar and Studio Mir craft a fun video-game adaptation that doubles as a deranged, bonkers, and bold homage to and indictment of '00s Americana. If nothing else, it contains some of the best animation you’re likely to see this year, and its epic finale makes for a very effective tease for an even wilder second season."

The confirmation of Season 2 isn't entirely unexpected. Series creator Adi Shankar had previously expressed his vision for a "multi-season arc," hinting at a broader narrative plan for the series.
