How to Get Brunswick’s Armour in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (Lion’s Crest Quest Guide)

How to Start The Lion’s Crest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Once you’ve completed the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 tutorial and are free to explore the open world, head to Troskowitz and speak with the scribe, Gaibl. He'll present you with a riddle and the smithing recipe for Brunswick's polearm. You'll need to gather the materials yourself, but you can craft the weapon at the blacksmith's forge.

The Lion’s Crest Riddle Solution

Gaibl's riddle is as follows:

“Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits. Pass through the hall of forest kings, hidden deep from hunters’ gaze, standing tall two guards of stone, behind who yearned for treasure lays. Between then stands a mighty rock, a subtle niche yet deeper still, a place to give one’s heart to God, behold my armour gleaming still.”

Leave Trosky Castle through the northern gates, heading north through the forest. Look to the left of the path for rocky formations with small crevices. These lead to a cave containing a chapel. Examine the cross near the rock to find the first piece of Brunswick's Armour and two treasure maps.

Continue west on the road from the chapel to a crossroads. Head north into the woods to a wolf den. The second piece of Brunswick’s armour is in a bag near the trees above the den.

This map leads to Vidlak Pond. Follow the path behind the fisherman's house to a large rock formation along the cliffs. A chest containing the next piece of armour is near a cross on the rocks.

Map 3

Fast travel to Zhelejov. Leave the tavern and cross two bridges towards Tachov. After the second bridge, take a small path towards the river and forest. Follow this path to a hill; examine the large tree at the top to find bones and a bag containing armour.

Map 4

The final map takes you to a hill between the Nomads’ Camp and Bozhena’s Hut. Look for rocks with a cross on top to find the final piece of Brunswick's armour.
