Glohow's anime-inspired RPG, Black Beacon, developed by Mingzhou Network Technology, is launching its global open beta, offering players worldwide (excluding China, Japan, and Korea) a first look. This subculture-inspired RPG opens its doors from January 8th to 17th, 2025.

The open beta provides access to the game's core features and exciting in-game events. Participation rewards include exclusive items simply for playing, and additional "Push Rewards" for checking in regularly during the beta period. The developers encourage feedback from players.

While the game's "subculture-inspired" description might raise some eyebrows, Black Beacon boasts a visually appealing style. Whether or not it truly captures the essence of subculture remains to be seen, but the only way to know for sure is to experience it firsthand. The official GBT guidebook provides instructions for signing up and playing on iOS and Android devices.

If Black Beacon doesn't quite hit the mark, don't worry! 2025 is already packed with exciting mobile game releases. Check out our list of the year's best mobile games for more options.
