Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

By CamilaMay 05,2025

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, Bethesda is on the brink of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is set for tomorrow at 8am PT/11am ET, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch. While Bethesda kept the specifics under wraps in their latest tweet, the prominent "IV" and a backdrop reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork left little room for doubt about what's coming.

The buzz around an Oblivion remake has been building for years, escalating from whispers to concrete leaks in recent times. The first hint came from a 2020 Bethesda release schedule, which surfaced during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, suggesting a remaster was slated for fiscal year 2022. Although that window had passed, potentially signaling a scrapped project, the flames of speculation were fanned anew in January this year with leaks indicating a full remake was in development, with Bethesda collaborating with Virtuos. The most recent leaks, just last week from Virtuos' website, showcased images of the remake, seemingly solidifying the project's existence.

Should these leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered is poised to launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Fans can also look forward to a Deluxe Edition, which is rumored to include the infamous horse armor, alongside the standard version.

Don't miss out on the official confirmation and further details—tune in tomorrow for what promises to be an exciting reveal.
