While many players are familiar with the main romance options in Baldur's Gate 3, there are several hidden gems that can easily be overlooked. One such intriguing encounter is with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This brief but memorable romance can be missed due to the game's fast-paced narrative during this section. In this guide, we'll explore how to locate and engage in a romantic encounter with Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

### Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet and romance Naoise, you'll need to progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey towards Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Here, your first stop should be Sharess' Caress, a local brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.

If you've previously explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can fast-travel to the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing, which will bring you directly to the front porch of Sharess' Caress.

Look for Nymph's Grotto:

You'll find Naoise in a unique area called the Nymph's Grotto, situated on the second floor. To access it, pass through the door leading to the outdoor area; the correct door is marked by a green light and ivy on the walls. This door is locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking skill check of 10 or higher.

### Interact with Naoise:

Upon entering the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise engaged with Jara, a Flaming Fist soldier. Your interruption will lead to a confrontation as Jara's tadpole interacts with yours. She'll accuse you of being someone else, and you can respond with:

  • "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."

Jara will mention the Absolute before transforming into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat to proceed. After defeating Jara, Naoise's attention shifts to you, expressing an unusual attraction to Mindflayers. You can then say:

  • "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."

A successful Insight check will reveal Naoise's readiness for romance. To engage further, you can ask:

- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"

Avoiding judgmental responses, Naoise will express her interest in a different 'flavor' of experience. To deepen the encounter, choose:

  • "What did you have in mind?"
  • "Close your eyes and listen."

This encounter unfolds entirely in your mind. Naoise asks you to choose what you will be, offering options like:

  • Revered
  • Contented
  • Powerful
  • Rich
  • I think we're done here.

Selecting 'Contented' leads to a unique romantic scene. After the encounter, Naoise will no longer be interested in further interactions, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Interestingly, this encounter doesn't affect your existing relationships, as seen with our character's ongoing romance with Karlach.

Shadowheart will reward you with the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point following the encounter.

Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you'll receive the Rapture boon, granting a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
