Streamer Asmongold has issued a challenge to Ilon Musk, demanding proof that Musk personally leveled his hero to level 97 in the permanent death mode of Path of Exile 2. Asmongold has promised that if Musk can substantiate his claim, he will exclusively stream all of his broadcasts on the platform X for an entire year.
"Has Ilon Musk played on this account up to level 97? The answer is very simple: no. Unequivocally, without a doubt. If Ilon Musk can prove that he pumped the hero himself to level 97, I will host all of my broadcasts on X for a year," Asmongold stated.
This challenge comes on the heels of streamer Quin releasing a video suggesting that Ilon Musk may have paid others to level his character in Path of Exile 2.
Meanwhile, Grinding Gear Games continues to dominate the Steam charts with the release of Path of Exile 2. Despite some initial launch issues, the developers are diligently working to enhance the game. A video preview of the upcoming Path of Exile 2 patch, version 0.1.1, was released today. According to the developers, this update will address numerous minor issues without necessitating major changes to the game's economy. Collectively, these "small fixes" are expected to make a significant impact on the gaming experience.
