Remedy's latest financial report credits this milestone, along with the release of The Lake House expansion and the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition, for enabling the game to begin accruing royalties after recouping its development and marketing costs.
Looking ahead, Remedy revealed that Control 2, developed in partnership with Annapurna, has completed its production readiness stage and will enter full production at the end of February 2025. Simultaneously, the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake continues to make steady progress in full production.
