HBO executive Francesca Orsi hints at a four-season run for its critically acclaimed The Last of Us adaptation. While emphasizing the absence of a finalized plan, Orsi stated to Deadline that the show is “looking like” three additional seasons beyond the current one. Those who missed Season 1 can still catch up before Season 2's April premiere. Unlike the first season, which adapted the entirety of the first game, Season 2 will span parts of The Last of Us Part II, utilizing a “natural breakpoint” after seven episodes. The new season will introduce several key characters: Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Tati Gabrielle as Mel. Catherine O'Hara's role remains shrouded in mystery.

IGN's review of Season 1 lauded the show as a "stunning adaptation," awarding it a 9/10 score.
