Samsung introduced a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three of these models now available for purchase. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs featuring incremental upgrades like new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to The Frame TVs. The 4K Mini-LED lineup includes the QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F. The top-tier QN90F boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F marks Samsung's first 100" TV offering.

The new OLED TVs for 2025 include the S95F, S90F, and S85F, each featuring upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F comes equipped with a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, enhanced anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel capable of up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F also includes the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel that reaches up to 1,300 nits of brightness on models 55" and larger. The S85F, currently the only available model, features a Gen 2 processor and serves as the entry-level option in the OLED range.

Not yet released

The Frame Pro, set to debut alongside the standard Frame TV, features a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through a "One Connect" box. The standard Frame TV will continue to be available at a more affordable price point.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

The 2024 Samsung mini LED QN90D refines the user interface and adds new features, enhancing its value proposition. Despite its premium price, the TV's brightness, color quality, ample HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming capabilities make a compelling case for the investment.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is heavily investing in AI technologies for its 2025 lineup. "Vision AI" can recognize content specifics such as actors or settings and provide real-time personalized commentary. Additionally, more models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for on-the-fly image optimization, along with Active Voice Amplifier Pro for enhanced voice isolation, AI Optimization, and an AI Energy Mode. Samsung is also expanding its use of a matte-like anti-glare coating across many TV panels, which minimizes reflections without desaturating the image, a common issue with other anti-glare technologies.
