The 2016 Suspects Are Now Available in the Mobile Version of Clue aka Cluedo

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you're in for a treat as you can now play with the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The 2016 Suspects Pack introduces familiar faces such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This pack focuses solely on these characters, giving you the flexibility to integrate them into any scenario you desire. Whether you want to stick with the nostalgia of the 2016 cast or mix things up with the newer 2023 characters, the choice is yours.

The fanbase has been vocal about their desire to see the 2016 characters return, especially with the introduction of the more contemporary 2023 cast. It's great to see that Marmalade has responded to this demand by bringing back these beloved suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode, which is free to all players, harks back to the original 1949 rules, offering a nostalgic gameplay experience.

The Retro Rules Set revives old-school mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations. Tokens will begin at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet always takes the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in. Accusations can only be made while in a room, and Clue Cards are entirely absent from this mode. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players.

To experience these exciting updates, you can download Clue aka Cluedo from the Google Play Store.
