Dive into the excitement of StopotS, the thrilling categories word game that's taking the world by storm! Also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop, this game is perfect for those who love a challenge and a bit of friendly competition. Here's how you can get in on the fun:
At the start, players agree on a set of categories that will form the backbone of the game. Think of categories like Names, Animals, Objects, and more. Once these are set, a random letter is drawn, signaling the beginning of a new round. The challenge? Fill in each category with a word that starts with the chosen letter. Speed is key here—be the first to complete all categories and hit the "STOP!" button to freeze everyone else's answers. Then comes the fun part: players vote on the validity of each answer. Score 10 points for each unique and correct answer, 5 points if someone else had the same answer, and zero for incorrect ones. Keep playing rounds until you reach the predetermined limit.
