Meet Akuru Hayahoshi, an unlucky otaku office worker who can't seem to win her husbando in her favorite gacha game, no matter how much she spends. Her luck changes when she encounters Ren Furutachi, a stunningly beautiful and incredibly fortunate individual. A string of misunderstandings leads to a surprising proposal, and Ren begins to ardently pursue Akuru.

One twist of fate follows another, and in her quest to finally bring her husbando home, Akuru ends up... bringing Ren home instead?! Now they're sharing a house...
