The OPL DRC Reader app is a specialized tool designed to read OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in Opel, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet vehicles equipped with CAN BUS (HS-CAN) systems, manufactured from 2004 onwards. This app is an essential resource for vehicle owners and mechanics looking to diagnose and address issues efficiently.

For **Opel / Vauxhall** models, the app supports:

  • Insignia
  • Astra J
  • Astra H (limited to the Engine Module)
  • Vectra C / Signum (limited to the Engine Module)
  • Other models have not been tested

For **Chevrolet** models, the app is compatible with:

  • Orlando
  • Cruze (not tested)
  • Other models have not been tested

The app also extends its functionality to **other GM brand vehicles**, though these have not been tested for compatibility.

The OPL DRC Reader can retrieve valuable vehicle data such as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Engine Code, and a comprehensive list of detected errors from the following modules:

  • Engine Control Module (ECM)
  • Body Control Module (BCM)
  • Transmission Control Module (TCM)

Additionally, the app has the capability to read mileage from certain modules, although this feature may vary depending on the vehicle model.

CAUTION: To ensure the app functions correctly, it requires a compatible ELM327 Bluetooth interface with a minimum version of 1.3. The app may not work with low-quality ELM327 clones.
