By BrooklynJan 17,2026

American rock band Alien Ant Farm expressed disappointment over their exclusion from the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 soundtrack, despite their track "Wish" being featured in the series' fourth installment.

While the remake's playlist includes returning hits like Motörhead's "Ace of Spades," several tracks have been cut and replaced with new additions.

Alien Ant Farm addressed BBC News after their social media post—a sad-face emoji reacting to the soundtrack announcement—drew attention to the band's absence.

"Is it a bummer that we weren’t invited, or that they didn’t include us? Absolutely," said guitarist Terry Corso. "We understand they’re refreshing the soundtrack, and cuts are inevitable. I’m not sure why we were left out—our song was well-received and fit perfectly."

"Skating culture leans punk, and we aren’t a punk band," added lead vocalist Dryden Mitchell, "but a diverse mix is what makes a soundtrack compelling."

Fan reactions to the soundtrack reveal have been divided, with some applauding the return of acts like CKY and Iron Maiden, while others lamented the omission of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Zebrahead.

On Instagram, Tony Hawk took ownership of the soundtrack selections, explaining he aimed to blend familiarity with discovery—introducing players to new music while honoring classics.

"I personally curated alternate tracks from artists featured in THPS3+4," Hawk stated. "Discovery is part of the fun, and it’s why these soundtracks resonate. Listen and enjoy the ride."

The game also introduces new skate parks and skaters alongside classic elements—including a surprise appearance by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Michelangelo.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 launches July 11 for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
