WWE 2K25 Gets First Look from Xbox

WWE 2K25: First Glimpses and Roster Speculation

Xbox recently teased WWE 2K25 with screenshots showcasing updated character models for CM Punk, Damien Priest, Liv Morgan, and Cody Rhodes, strongly suggesting their inclusion in the game's roster. With WWE 2K24's March 2024 release, speculation points to a similar launch window for its successor in 2025, though no official date has been announced.

The identity of the WWE 2K25 cover star remains a mystery, despite a Steam page leak hinting at a potential candidate. Official confirmation, however, is expected on January 28, 2025, according to a link shared by the WWE Games Twitter account. This link directs to a wishlist page featuring Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam logos, indicating a multi-platform release. Whether the game will be exclusive to current-gen consoles remains unconfirmed.

Xbox's Twitter post, celebrating WWE RAW's Netflix debut, featured the screenshots highlighting improved character likenesses, particularly praised for Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan. The tweet also sparked fan inquiries about potential Xbox Game Pass availability.

Confirmed Playable Characters:

  • CM Punk
  • Damien Priest
  • Liv Morgan
  • Cody Rhodes

While these four are confirmed, the full WWE 2K25 roster remains undisclosed. Significant roster changes within WWE, including both departures and new signings, fuel fan anticipation and speculation. Many hope to see favorites like Bloodline members Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga, and the newly revamped Wyatt Six, represented in the game.

The excitement surrounding WWE 2K25 is building, with the January 28th reveal promising to shed more light on the game's release date, platform exclusivity, and the complete roster.
